Submerged Sediment Removal, Lake Pearl, Wrentham, MA

ABC Soils, Inc. was hired to remove bentonite clay from the bottom of Lake Pearl, which was lost during the installation of a new water line under the lake. We removed a mixture of clay and water from the bottom of the lake and placed it in a 10,000 gallon container to separate. The water was decanted from the top of the sediment and the bentonite was trucked away. The water in the lake was approximately four to six feet deep in the project area.
